Enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sugar, everything bagel seasoning (hulled sesame seeds, sea salt, minced garlic, minced onion, black sesame seeds, poppy seeds), baking powder (sodium acid pyrophosphate, baking soda, cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate), wheat flour, sea salt, garlic, granulated onion, baking soda, pecorino yeast (yeast extract [yeast, maltodextrin, salt], pecorino cheese [pasteurized milk, cheese culture, salt, enzymes], natural flavor), chopped chives, white pepper.

Makes 8 scones

From your pantry you will need ...

  • 8 Tbsp. (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces or shredded
  • 1 large egg
  • 2/3 cup milk, plus extra for milk wash

Preheat oven to 425°F. Empty dry mix into a large mixing bowl. Add butter and cut in with a pastry blender, fork or two knives until it resembles coarse crumbs. In a small bowl, whisk together egg and 2/3 cup milk. Add liquid to dry mix and butter, lightly stirring with a spoon until mixture comes together to form a ball (do not overwork dough). Gently turn dough onto a well-floured work surface. Knead gently until it holds together. Form dough into an 8 x ½-inch round. Cut round into 8 wedges. Brush top of each scone with reserved milk and sprinkle evenly with the included everything seasoning packet. Place on a baking sheet 1½ inches apart. Bake until lightly browned, approximately 12-15 minutes.
