Our Story

SheaMoisture is the legacy of Sofi Tucker, a pioneering mother of four and entrepreneur, who sold Shea Butter, African Black Soap and homemade beauty preparations in Sierra Leone in 1912. We honor her vision by continuing to formulate with Raw Shea Butter handcrafted by women in Africa.

This clarifying mud mask, blended with African Black Soap, Tamarind Extract, Tea Tree Oil, and Fair Trade Shea Butter, helps to draw out dirt and impurities while absorbing excess oil. Skin is left feeling purified and refreshed.

Suggested Use

Apply a thin layer of mud with fingertips to clean skin, avoiding eye area. Keep on for up to 10 minutes. Remove with damp face cloth. Use weekly or as needed.
