Suggested Use

Foot File Use:

  1. For best results, use on dry moisture-free skin.
  2. Gently move Foot File in a back and forth motion across the area of the foot to be treated, adding slightly more pressure as needed to achieve the desired result. Avoid moving the Foot File in a side-to-side or circular motion.
  3. Stop use when new skin is revealed or when callus has been removed, as overuse may cause feet to become sore.
  4. Sanitize Foot File after each use (see below).

Sanitizing Process - Foot File

  1. Prepare proper mixture of sanitizer.
  2. Remove rubber handle from body of Foot File.
  3. Flush inside and outside of rubber handle with running water for 10 seconds and empty.
  4. Submerge rubber handle in sanitizer solution and allow it to soak for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove rubber handle from solution, rinse inside and outside with running water for 5 seconds to remove any particles that may have settled on rubber handle while soaking.
  6. Allow to air dry before next use.
  7. With rubber handle removed from body of Foot File, flush front metal file surface with running water for 10 seconds. Slowly move the file surface from end to end underneath the running water and tilt from side to side tp allow skin particles to fall away.
  8. Turn file over and flush the back side of the metal file surface with running water for 10 second. Slowly move the file surface from end to end underneath the running water and tilt from side to side at sharp angles to prevent skin particles from accumulating at ridges and to fall away.
  9. Submerge the body of the Foot File completely in prepared sanitizer solution and allow to soak for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove body of Foot File from solution and using tilting motion described in steps 7 and 8, rinse front and back of file surface with running water for 10 seconds to remove any particles that may have settled on it while soaking.
  11. Allow to air dry before next use.
