Suggested Use
Oatmeal Preparation:
Servings | 1 | 2 | 6 |
Water (cups) | 3/4 | 1 1/2 | 4 1/2 |
Oats (cups) | 1/4 | 1/2 | 1 1/2 |
Make on Stovetop:
- Bring water to a boil.
- Stir in oats.
- Reduce heat, cover and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and allow to stand for 1 minute before serving.
Make in Microwave (one serving):
- Combine 3/4 cup of water and 1/4 cup of Quick Cook Steel Cut Oats in a medium sized microwaveable bowl.
- Cook on medium for 3 minutes, stir and cook on medium for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from microwave (bowl will be hot) and allow to stand for 1 min.
Note: Due to differences in microwave ovens, cook times may vary.
