Suggested Use
Stovetop Cooking Instructions
This product is raw and must be cooked in order to enjoy its delicious flavor.
- In a medium saucepan, bring 1 3/4 cups water* and 1 cup rice to a boil.
- Cover with a tight-fitting lid. Reduce heat to maintain a low simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat (keep covered) and steam for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
Tip: If rice is too firm at the end of cooking, add 1-2 Tbsp. liquid* and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Rice cooker: To prepare in a rice cooker, use the same rice to liquid* ratio as stovetop instructions.
Refrigeration recommended for extended shelf life.
