Our purity verified Tea Tree Essential Oil is prepared from the fresh (undried) leaf of Melaleuca alternifolia trees which are grown in their natural habitat in Australia. 

The leaf is hand-harvested at its optimal potency and is then promptly steam distilled to produce the finest oil possible solvents are never used. 

Our Tea Tree Essential Oil is low in cineole (less than 7%) and is therefore very gentle to the skin and mucous membranes.
