Our Frontier Co-op® Citrus Matcha Green Tea Blend offers a bright tangy flavor with lemon peel and lemongrass notes. This flavorful Matcha blend is derived from premium Japanese green tea leaves that have been ground into a fine powder.

Matcha powder comes from the same plant as green tea — the difference is in the growing, harvesting and preparation. Rich, full-bodied matcha is shade-grown, plucked, dried, and ground into a powder for a flavor that is bolder than green tea, which is made from dried leaves.

Ingredients

Organic matcha, organic lemongrass, organic lemon peel, organic cardamom, organic lemon essential oil.

Suggested Use

  • Whisk 1 tsp. matcha into 8 oz. steaming water (175ºF). Whisk briskly until froth appears. 
  • To prepare as a latte, use hot milk or milk alternative instead of water, and sweeten to taste.
  •  For maximum freshness, store in an air tight container for up to six months after opening.
