Assam is the quintessential black Indian tea. Rich, robust, astringent and highly aromatic, Frontier Co-op Organic Fair Trade Assam Tea leaves are Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe grade. Often considered a "morning tea," Assam is also the perfect choice for a formal English-style tea and all the traditional cakes, sandwiches and sweets that that go with it. Assam holds up well to the addition of milk and sugar and also makes a flavorful iced tea. Our organic, Fair Trade Certified™ bulk Assam tea is kosher certified.
