Organic yellow popcorn.
Suggested Use
Microwave instructions
Yields 4 Cups Popped
- 1/4 cup arrowhead mills® yellow popcorn
- Pour popcorn kernels into a medium sized microwave safe bowl.
- Cover with a microwave safe lid or paper plate.
- Microwave on high for 3-5 minutes or until popping slows to once every 3 seconds.
- Let stand For 1 minute. Remove from microwave and season as desired.
Stove top instructions
Yields 4 Cups Popped
- 1/4 Cup arrowhead mills® yellow popcorn
- 1 - 3 qt saucepan with cover cups popped
- 3 tbsps canola or coconut oil
- 2 tbsps melted butter (optional) salt to taste
- Heat oil in pan over high heat, add 3 kernels and place a lid on tight. When kernels have popped, add the rest of the kernels in an even layer.
- Cover with lid and cook over low heat.
- Keep covered for 30 seconds or until all kernels have popped. When rapid popping has slowed to almost nothing, remove from heat.
- Transfer to a medium bowl, toss popcorn with melted butter and salt.
Popcorn Balls
Yields 16 Balls
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 8 cups popped Corn
- In a medium saucepan, add honey and water. Cook over medium high heat until honey mixture reaches 300'F. Remove from heat and stir in salt and butter until dissolved.
- In a large bowl, place popped popcorn and pour honey mit over popcorn. Stir to coat popcorn entirely.
- Spray a large cookie scoop or spoon with non stick spray and scoop popcorn into ball shapes. Place popcorn balls on parchment paper and allow to cool.
