This formula originated in the 1920s from the shared knowledge of an Ontario Indian medicine man and Canadian nurse, Rene Caisse. It was then shared with many of Caisse's patients and fellow health care practitioners.

Suggested Use
Prepare tea concentrate per directions on the reverse of this container.
Step 1 . Choose Usage Level:
- Initial recommended dose is 2 fluid ounces (fl.oz) of Tea Concentrate daily. You can continue with this dosage or increase to 4 fl.oz of Tea Concentrate daily.**
- If you are on the higher 4 fl.oz daily dose it is advised to double the recipe in step 2 below.
Step 2 . Prepare the Tea Concentrate (28 fl.oz):
- Add 2 tablespoons of Rene's Tea blend to 1/4 gallon of boiled water (spring water or distilled water), cover, bring to a boil, stir and simmer for 18 minutes.
- Allow the Tea Concentrate to infuse for 12 hours.
- Stir, re-heat to a boil and remove from heat. Do not microwave.
- Filter the Tea Concentrate into clean bottles (amber glass) and once cooled, tighten the caps.
- Label the jars with a date and refrigerate the jars. Use within 14 days.
Step 3 · Directions for Use:
- Remove the daily dose of Tea Concentrate (2 or 4 fl. oz) after shaking the jar thoroughly.
- Before breakfast, on an empty stomach, drink the first 2 oz of Tea Concentrate either as-is, or dilute with 2 fl. oz of water.
- Optional: If taking the higher dose, repeat steps 1 and 2 before bed.
**Slowly titrate the dosage of Tea Concentrate from 2 fl. oz to 4 fl. oz at a pace that feels comfortable to the body.
This bag makes a total of one gallon of Tea Concentrate.
Warnings
Never use aluminum, copper, or plastic utensils. Stainless steel is preferable.
Keep out of reach of children. If taking medication consult with a healthcare professional before use. Do not take if pregnant or nursing. Discontinue use if unusual symptoms occur.
